She has shown successfully in-hand at four dressage breed shows. She has placed First at three of those four. She also has been Filly Champion, Young Horse Reserve Champion and Reserve Grand Champion. She also qualified for the East Coast Breeder's Championship Series at Dressage at Devon. She has a lovely disposition and is easy to tie, clip, bathe, braid, load and handle. She should go on to an amazing under saddle career, or be an asset to any breeding program.

She has been to several shows already in-hand in 2007. You don't have to take my word for it that she is nice, the judges agree! Some of the judges comments and scores include: "nice filly, typically like her sire", "good neck; shoulder and front leg very good! (8)", "good topline", "very good canter with balance", "good strong topline, very good proportions (7.9)", "very expressive, generous forward drive (8)", "well laid back withers, lovely neck substantial hind end, great expression, good legs, good condition (7.5)", "well presented, agreeable temperament, pays attention, obedient (7.5)", "Lovely filly, appears good tempered (most important), enjoy!", "large framed filly of good type. well proportioned (7.5)", "nice uphill build, short in back, straight in pastern, nice long legs, nice type (7.5)", elegant modern type", "good suspension and regularity"

Make plans to come to see her. She is worth the trip.

VOLTAIRE is the result of crossing two outstanding bloodlines: Furioso II and Gotthard. Furioso II produced 200 state premium mares and at least 70 approved stallions of which several are standing at stud in other continents. One can easily say that Furioso II has influenced the breeding industry worldwide. The full brother of Furioso II is the French stallion, Mexico. His son, Le Mexico, is a familiar name in Dutch breeding and frequently appears in the pedigrees of successful showjumpers. The dam's sire, Gotthard, is, now more than fifteen years after his death, almost a legend in German sports horse breeding and his name is simply a synonym for the Hanoverian showjumper. Gotthard's strength is continued in his sons and grandsons, but also indirectly on the dam side of, for example, Grundstein and Grannus. Vital in Voltaire's pedigree is the connection in the third generation to the Thoroughbreds More Magic (sire of, amongst others, Moscow Gold Medal winner Mon Cherie) on one side and on the other side Furioso (sire of the Gold Medal winners Lutteur B and Pomone B).

As an 8-year-old, VOLTAIRE jumped 1.50m courses with a great deal of success. He showed his strength in international jumping in 1988 in Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinki, Wiesbaden and Wembley and in 1989 he brought his showjumping career to a successful ending by winning the Grand Prix of Berlin with Jos Lansink and 2nd in the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden. VOLTAIRE was the sire with the most offspring at the Olympic Games of Atlanta in 1996. VOLTAIRE is a Keur and Preferent stallion with the KWPN in Holland.

Moreover, VOLTAIRE is second in 1999 on the World Breeding Ranking of Showjumping sires. VOLTAIRE has over 30 approved sons in Europe. Many of his offspring jump at Grand Prix level: Finesse, Altaire, Kahlua, Play It Again, Helios, Electro, Danta, Especial, etc., etc. Foltaire, ridden by Gunther Seidel, is a famous offspring of VOLTAIRE in the international dressage ring. VOLTAIRE is the sire of One More Look - Elite and high-scoring foal of the NASFA 2002 Foal Evaluations.

HALFTONE is the full sister of D'ACCORD II and GAMEPLAN. D'ACCORD II has been winning ribbons in the Preliminary Jumper division from Palm Beach to South Hampton. In June, 1999, he was Junior Jumper Champion at the Ox Ridge Horse Show. In 2000, he placed 2nd twice in the Modified division and was 3rd in a $10,000 Mini Prix. His highlight of 2001 was a 5th place out of 50 horses in the Hunter Farm Mini-Prix. In 2002, he was Modified Jumper Champion at the Blue Rock Horse Show. In the fall, he won the Gambler's Choice at the Springtree Farm Show and he won the $10,000 Mini-Prix at the Riverstone Jumper Classic. In 2003, he was 3rd and 5th in Mini-Prix's.

HALFTONE'S full brother D'ACCORD II's first foals are eight-year-olds of 2005. Jamais Perdu was Zone II Hunter Breeding Champion 2-year-old and was also third nationally in the Hunter Breeding 2-year-old division in 1999. Kikkoman was Champion at the Duncraven Winter Series in the Schooling Jumpers and was Champion at the Four Seasons Spring Show in the Pre-Preliminary Jumpers. L'Accord, a 1999 colt, was an Elite foal and was the high-scoring foal in the NASFA Foal Evaluations in 1999. A filly, Motif, was second in the New Jersey Hunter Bred Yearling Futurity her only time out in 2001. Live Act was 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the five Novice Level horse trials in which he competed in 2004. During the 2005 Winter Circuit in Ocala, he was Level 2 Champion twice and Level 4 Champion once. D'ACCORD II's foals continue to place well in the NASFA Foal Evaluations, with Excellent foals in 2000, 2001 and 2003.

D'ACCORD II's full brother, Game Plan, won all four 5-year-old Young Jumper qualifiers and then the West Coast Finals, providing him a trip to Monterrey, Mexico for the Championships in 1999. D'ACCORD II's three-year-olds are balanced and elastic movers. They show athletic ability over the small courses which they are now jumping. D'ACCORD II is the only Olisco son approved for breeding in the U.S.
