    Quantum Leaps was judged to be an Elite Selle Francais colt in the
2004 Selle Francais Foal Evaluations with a score of 8.

Quantum Leaps is a lovely 2004 Selle Francais bay colt by Florian out of Halftone (Olisco). Lea is going under saddle and has shown successfully at walk/trot/canter on the flat. He is schooling over fences. His attitude is tremendous and he is very willing.

Lea has been to many breed shows in his three years. He was awarded "Elite" in his foal evaluation with the Selle Francais association with a final score of 8.0. He scored 8.5 for a topline and 8's on his neck, front-end, hind-end and overall impression. The French Inspector's comments included "He has a very nice neck, a good back and loin and a strong croup. He is a good mover with nice extension." Some of the judge's comments from the breed shows he has attended include "Good bone" (conformation: 9.4), "good head-neck position forward and upward neck flexion visible- good shoulder and withers- good topline, well muscled rear end, big overstride, good rhythm with visible suspension out of active hind leg" (General impression: 9), "Smooth topline athletic type, good ground coverage, good swing through back, (walk: 8.0) "long pelvis, strong coupling over loin- neck fairly well shaped, swings back well- ground covering steps, trot clear and rhythmic (walk: 8.5) (conformation and general impression both: 7.8)

Lea is currently listed at a price, which will go up as his under saddle training progresses. He is learning quickly.

His sire, Florian, was awarded Intermediaire I Reserve Champion, Region IX in 1993 and 1994. He was also named Winner of the North American Selle Francais Horse Association Dressage award in 1992, 1993 and 1994.

His dam, Halftone, was the highest scoring foal at the 1995 Selle Francais Foal Evaluations and is the highest scoring foal EVER in the United States and Canada. In 1998 Halftone placed 1st at Dressage at Lexington in the 3-Year-Olds Under Saddle class. She has been an exceptional producing broodmare since then.

This youngster should do really well in jumping or could be a dressage prospect as well. His bloodlines will be tremendous for any discipline. Make your dreams come true at a dream price!
